Final note

As terribly useful as my Crisis Management revision session was, the lecturer said something which really struck a chord with me in how to approach the exams in general. He said that we should not see them as a daunting memory test, where examiners are trying to catch us out, but as a way to show off our skills.

If you go into the exams and think, "I'll show them what I'm made of", or something equally self-confident (and it's terribly cliche, so it should also provide some amusement), it makes them more interesting, rather than scary.

It worked for me for my first exam this year, Understanding the Global Firm - I felt a whole lot better and was able to tackle the questions with greatly reduced panicky feelings.
