Blocks

There are 5 issues which may block the above progressions:

  1. Fluctuations. Making the transition into a new global order will be difficult, owing to fluctuating currency rates, trade barriers, and communication difficulties.
  2. Poor economic systems. A new global economic system needs to be introduced, as the existing systems are flawed and clash with one another. Capitalism, for example, exacerbates the differences between the rich and poor, labour and management, and domestic and foreign firms.
  3. Environment. Achieving Sustainable Development in the environment.
  4. Reactive. The world needs to manage the many complexities in societies, including poverty, education, and in business, serving market niches. We need to be more proactive, rather than reactive.
  5. Economic gap. The lifestyle and wealth gap between LDC and DC is too large and needs to be reduced. If something is not done, crime and corruption will continue to spread in the LDCs.
