Porter's Diamond

Porter (1990) developed a Diamond for analysing national competitive advantage. The aim is to reveal how it that a nation achieves international success in a particular industry. The Diamond identifies four industry-specific characteristics in determining whether such a success has been achieved (Fig.2).
