Corporate culture and structure

Both culture and structure play an enormous part in determining business performance. There are specific characteristics required for culture and structure to work, but if done properly can greatly influence the interaction between employees, divisions, and external agents.

Structure is easier to analyse, as culture is intangible. Culture is also affected by time, as informal rules change.

More on this topic will be discussed in a later lecture.
